Mr Graham Forward

Mr. Graham Forward is a qualified orthopaedic surgeon and
chairman of the Murdoch
Orthopaedic Clinic. He has been actively practicing elective and
trauma orthopaedic
surgery in Western Australia since 1986 as registrar and
consultant.

- Mr Forward specializes in Hip and Knee surgery in main areas
of arthritis and
sports injuries
- Knee surgery for sports injuries includes arthroscopic
surgery to deal with
meniscal tears, patella discreation, articular cartilage
injuries, and Anterior
Cruciate Ligament ACL reconstructions of which over 2000 have
been carried
out.
- Arthritis surgery- Hip and Knee Replacement including
complex revision
surgery using bone graft and modular prostheses.
- Unicompartmental knee replacement and osteotomes to correct
alignment of
the hip and knee are frequently carried out.

Particular Interests
The Murdoch Orthopaedic Clinic provides visiting and
consulting orthopaedic service
to the East and West Kimberly and Mr Forward is a proud member of
that team. He
is the founder of Australian Doctors for Africa (
www.ausdocafrica.org ), a charity
providing volunteer medical services to Ethiopia, Somalia and
Madagascar.
